temperature. It also checks for a lack of oxygen - if detected, the unit
will shut down.

- A USC1-117 waterproof remote control is included with all RTG-74

A. The minimum flow to operate these tankless water heaters is
0.66gpm.
Q "What is the minimum amount of water pressure needed for
these to operate?"
A These units require a consistent 14psi or
better water pressure to operate.
Q " What water pressure is needed for
supplying hot water to upper floors?"
A To supply water to upper floors, you'll need an
additional 0.44psi/ft of water pressure. Basically, for every one vertical foot,
you'll need an additional 0.44psi of water pressure.
Q "What water pressure is recommended for well water?"
A Well water systems should be set at a range of 50-60psi.

If your home has 1 bathroom, a Rheem tankless RTG2-42 series water heater
should provide an ample supply of continuous hot water. If your home has 1-2
bathrooms, you should consider a Rheem RTG-53 series water heater. For up to 3
bathroom homes, the larger Rheem Tankless RTG-74 series water heater should be selected. For
homes with more than 3 bathrooms, large volume demands for hot water, or hot
water circulating systems, you should choose our GT-199 heavy-duty water
heater. In some applications, our heavy-duty tankless water heaters are linked
together in a manifold configuration to meet the higher volume demands for
continuous hot water. In fact, up to 20 heavy-duty models can be linked together
to work as one water heating system where only one remote control and manifold
controller are required a Rheem Tankless Water Heater exclusive.
